The Prayer Book Society Conference

We look forward to gathering at Liverpool Hope University where our speakers will help us to explore how the Prayer Book continues to be relevant in a variety of contexts.

The conference will begin with a Sung Evensong on the Thursday evening, the Annual General Meeting will be held at 2.30pm on the Friday, and we will depart after lunch on the Saturday.

The Speakers will be:

  • The Revd Alan Pierce-Jones, Managing Chaplain at HMP Berwyn. (Thursday evening)
  • The Rt. Revd Humphrey Southern, Principal of Ripon College, Cuddesdon. (Friday morning)
  • The Revd (Capt) Tom Sander, Padre to The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. (Friday morning)
  • The Revd Hugh Bearn, Chaplain of St Anselm Hall, University of Manchester. (Friday afternoon)
  • Dr Hanna Rijken, Assistant Professor, Theological University of Amsterdam. (Saturday morning)
