Canticles and cake; Festal Harvest Evensong

Date:7th October 2018

Location:St Botolph’s Church, Lullingstone, Kent, DA4 0HY

Readers Jan Thompson and Peter Davis will conduct a service of Choral Evensong for Harvest Festival with the combined benefice choirs under the direction of Barrie Payne. Light refreshments will be served after the service.

Prior to the service the Rochester Branch will hold a brief AGM from 3.15 in the Castle marquee by the kind permission of Mr and Mrs Hart Dyke.

The Lullingstone World Garden will be open to the public from noon but access to the parish church is free of charge.

To find St Botolph’s, turn off the A225 in the centre of Eynsford village, opposite St Martin’s Church, and cross the river by the stone bridge. Follow the lane [Riverside becomes Lullingstone Lane] under a splendid viaduct and past Lullingstone Roman Villa, until you reach the Tudor gatehouse of Lullingstone Castle. The Church is on the lawn beyond the gatehouse.
