Peter Toon Memorial Lecture

An annual lecture in memory of the late Dr Peter Toon, theologian, author, sometime Librarian of Latimer House, Oxford, and latterly President of the Prayer Book Society of the USA. The lecture aims to unite the two ends of the Anglican spectrumEvangelical and Catholicin promoting, defending and expounding the Anglican Way as expressed in the Formularies of the Church of England (the Book of Common Prayer, the Thirty-Nine Articles and the Ordinal).

4.00pm    Lecture: Predestination to Life: Assisted Suicide, Human Dignity,
                and the Faith enshrined in the Book of Common Prayer

5.30pm     Evensong & Sermon
                 Preacher: The Revd Tony Noble, Sometime Rector of All
                 Saints’, San Diego, USA (The Episcopal Church)

6.30–7.00 pm   Post-service reception
