Cranmer winner recites the Creed to mark 1700th anniversary

Antony Vazhappilly, the junior section winner of the 2025 Cranmer Awards has recorded a recitation of the Nicene Creed.

This statement of faith originated at the Council of Nicaea, the first Ecumenical Council of the Christian Church, which marks its 1700th anniversary this year.

To mark this significant milestone, the PBS' Annual Conference will focus on the the historical development and theological significance of this key text. Booking for the conference is now open and space is limited.

The video was shot in St John the Evangelist church, New Hinksey, Oxford, which is a Corporate Member of the PBS.
