Morning Prayer for Ascension Day at St John the Evangelist, Groombridge, a corporate member of the Prayer Book Society, to be followed by an informal organ recital by Anthony Roberts, with a retiring collection for the Turkey/Syria Earthquake Appeal. At 1pm we will repair to the Crown Inn opposite the church for a convivial lunch.
St John the Evangelist church is on the B2110, Groombridge Hill, on the north side of Groombridge village. Use TN3 9QH for SatNav. Please do not try to park outside the church, as it is a busy road but park around the village green or, if you are staying for lunch, the Crown Inn has a small car park. [NB: there are no toilets at the church]
It would be helpful to have an idea of numbers by Thursday, 27th April, but if you make the decision to come after that date, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
