A Defence of the Discourse Concerning the Idolatry Practised in the Church of Rome (1676)

Original price was: £495.00.Current price is: £295.00.

A Defence of the Discourse Concerning the Idolatry Practised in the Church of Rome, in Answer to a Book entitled, Catholicks no Idolaters by Edward Stillingfleet, Chaplain in Ordinary to His Majesty. Printed by Robert White for Henry Maartlock at the Sign of the Phoenix in St Paul's Churchyard, and at the White-Hart in Westminster Hall, 1676.

Book in remarkable condition for its age. Holds together well, pages appear to be clean and intact, though obviously they show signs of aging (who wouldn't at that age?!) Names of two original owners written in front..

This historic book would make a fine addition to a collection.

Author: Edward Stillingfleet
