Join the congregation of Bolton Parish Church and the Manchester Branch of the Prayer Book Society for a special Evensong for Pentecost (Whitsun). We will be joined by the Bishop of Middleton, Rt Revd Mark Davies, who will preach and commission the new Manchester Branch Chaplain, the Revd Sam Eccleston.The service will be conducted by the Revd Hannah Lane, Vicar of Bolton, and Philip O'Connor will be the Director of Music.
St Peter, Bolton-le-Moors (Bolton Parish Church) is a landmark Victorian civic church, built on a site that has been used for Christian worship since the Middle Ages. They have a superb choir and a strong choral tradition, and have been featured on BBC Radio on several occasions recently.
The church is accessible by bus or train and there is a car park next to the church.
