The Commemoration of the Martydom of Thomas Cranmer takes place on Thursday 21 March 2024.
11.00 a.m. Choral Mattins at the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, the High Street, Oxford
Led by Canon Will Lamb, Vicar of St Mary the Virgin, & the Revd Richard Smail, Chaplain to the Oxford Branch of the PBS. The preacher will be Canon Lamb.
Followed by a procession to the martyrdom site in Broad Street and wreath-laying on the Martyrs’ Memorial.

1.30pm Lecture - Thomas Cranmer, the Prayer Book and the Victorians - The Revd Canon Dr Jeremy Morris National Adviser for Ecumenical Relations, Church of England.
