Northampton remembers the restoration of the Monarchy in these isles in thanksgiving for the generosity of King Charles II, who came to the town’s aid following the Great Fire of Northampton in 1675.

followed by the Wreathing of the Statue of King Charles II on the West Portico by the Mayor of Northampton, together with the Prayer of Thanksgiving led by the Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire.
Parade led by the HAC Company of Pikemen & Musketeers and the Corps of Drums of 'A' Company LNR Army Cadet Force
