The AGM will be held in St Nicholas Village Hall, moving on to St Nicholas Church for a tour and Choral Evensong. The Prayer Book Society Chairman, Bradley Smith, will be joining us to speak at the AGM. If you have not met Bradley before, do not miss this opportunity to hear from our active and inspiring Chairman.
The programme will be:
3pm - Rochester Branch AGM followed by a talk from Mr Bradley Smith, PBS Chairman in The Village Hall, Church Lane, Chislehurst, Kent BR7 5PE
4.15pm - Light refreshments served in the hall.
5pm – To the church for a talk on the history of Chislehurst Parish Church to be given by Charles Clark
6pm - Choral Evensong officiated by the Rector, the Rev'd Rachel Curley.
Chislehurst Village Hall is on Church Lane, almost opposite the hotel entrance to the Bull's Head, BR7 5PE. St Nicholas Church is a short walk the other end of Church Lane, past Cedarmore Court. The Tiger’s Head is a landmark to find Church Lane from the B264 Manor Park Road (not to be confused with Church Row which runs around the other side of the church and is nearer the pub).
There are some parking spaces at the Village Hall and at the church. There is also unrestricted parking on all three roads which surround the churchyard (Church Lane runs down the eastern side of the churchyard, Church Row borders the western side and a short unnamed road giving access to the south of the churchyard via the lychgate, opposite the Tiger's Head).
Be warned that leafy Chislehurst is within the ULEZ payment zone.
