We welcome you to join us for a Choral Evensong service followed by a talk by Bishop Graham Tomlin as part of the Tyndale 500 Exhibition at Blackburn Cathedral.
The Evensong service will be sung by the cathedral choir at 5pm.
That same evening at 7.00 we hold the main public event of the whole Tyndale programme in the Nave: The Bible Changes Lives. Bishop Graham Tomlin will be giving the keynote on Tyndale, what his New Testament did to England, and what he sees of Scripture's effect on people now. That evening we will also have three interviews with people in Blackburn whose lives have been changed by reading the Bible.
Refreshments will be served at 6.30pm when the doors open for the evening event, and again after 9.00 while people look at the exhibition.
The Revd James Lawrence has offered to lead a guided tour of the North Transept, focusing on the Tyndale New Testament and the translation cases.
If you would like to attend the talk please register for your free ticket through Eventbrite here. This allows us to track numbers for seating and catering.
