The Prayer Book Society's Annual Conference 2024 will be held at St Chad's College, Durham, from Tuesday 10th to Thursday 12th September. On the Wednesday afternoon we will visit Auckland Castle, home of the Prince Bishops of Durham, and sing Evensong in the Chapel of St Peter.
The title of this year's conference is "The Hope of Glory".

The Very Revd Philip Plyming, Dean of Durham (Wednesday morning)
The Revd Canon Michael Hampel, Vice Dean and Precentor of Durham (Wednesday morning)
Dr Eizabeth Hare, Old Testament Tutor, Cranmer Hall (Thursday morning)
Three devotional addresses will be given during conference services by the Revd Dr Catherine Reid, Anglican Chaplain, University of York.

The PBS is offering a limited number of bursaries for clergy, ordinands and people under 30 to attend the full residential conference for a fee of only £50, or £25 for non-residents. To apply for a bursary please email the

Please note that the Society's 2024 Annual General Meeting will not be held during the Conference. Instead it will be held on Saturday, 31 August at St Giles-in-the-Fields, London, commencing at 2.30pm.
