On the day after the Coronation, Sunday 7th May, Morning Prayer at St Botolph’s Church in the grounds of Lullingstone Castle, will be followed by a bring-and-share picnic on the lawn (in church, if wet) so please bring a chair or picnic rug.
Lullingstone Castle is to be found at the end of Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford, Kent. Turn off the A225 in the centre of Eynsford, opposite St Martin’s Church, crossing the river by the stone bridge – WARNING ordinary cars often get stuck in the ford! Follow the lane under a splendid railway viaduct and past Lullingstone Roman Villa, until you reach the Tudor gatehouse of Lullingstone Castle. Park by the yew hedge and go through the gatehouse to the church.
For Satnav use post code DA4 0HY even though it may tell you that you are going off road when you reach the private part of the lane
