Join members and supporters for a visit to this 13th century historic church.
It has been under the patronage of the Earls of Dorset since the reign of Elizabeth I. The present patron is William, 11th Earl De La Warr.
The Revd Canon James Campbell will welcome us and Countess de la Warr has kindly agreed to tell us the history of the Sackville family and show us the memorials in the private chapel.
Meet at 10.45am and the tour will start at 11.00am. The church is signposted from the road, follow the driveway round to the left and there is a sign left up to the carpark.
Following the visit, lunch will be available as a group at The Dorset Arms, Buckhurst Park, Withyham, TN7 4BD.
Cost – The visit to the church will cost £10 per person, in cash or cheque payable to Mr G E Comer on the day.
