A special 'Evensong in the City' to mark VJ Day will be held at St Barts the Great in Smithfield, Lodon.
The preacher will be the Revd Canon and Rt Hon. the Lord Biggar, former Canon of Christ Church, Oxford, and Regus Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology.
The service, open to all, is followed by free food and the delights of the parish bar.
