2023 is turning into a great year for the Prayer Book Society and all its members.
In August we will gather for our Annual Conference at Liverpool Hope University.
An impressive list of key note speakers will address us between August 17-19. They include The Revd Canon Dr Philip Anderson, Precentor of Liverpool Cathedral and The Revd Dr Catherine Reid, Chaplain to the University of York.
Bursaries are available and non members are welcome. Read more here.
In September 50 members and guests will travel to the Holy Land for a ten day pilgrimage - a journey which you will be able to follow from home on the website and via regular news updates.
On 7th October the Society will celebrate its 50th Anniversary at Westminster. Postponed from last year, the day of celebrations opens at St Margaret's Church in the shadow of Westminster Abbey at 11am with a Sung Holy Communion. The preacher will be the Society's Ecclesiastical Patron, The Lord Chartres. Lunch at Church House will be addressed by the Bishop of Oswestry, before we move to the Abbey for a celebration of Choral Evensong. Read more here.
